You can park a bike almost anywhere....as for losing your license on one, bear this in mind.....
Having a numberplate that is so small it cannot be read = £30 fine and NO points.
Having a normal sized numberplate that can easily be read = £60 fine and THREE points.
Considering that all the real coppers have been replaced by camera's that are NOT capable of stopping you there & then for ANY offence that you MAY have committed, it's a real conumdrum as to what way to go
20 years ago BMW flat twins followed you, or a Vauxhall Senator
Got to give either bike coppers or car the respect they deserve they can drive and certainly ride
Most folk think that traffic cops are c*nts...I've never met a real bad one yet (and I've been tugged by a few in my younger days).
As for TB's comment about riding in London.....heed his advice on this occasion, because it's not just a different ball game, it's a whole new world.
Most are fine the only nasty bits of work were non traffic but in cars, and I have come across 4 of them

1 nearly knocked me off - driving up my bum on a DC, another nearly ran into a lorry while I was filtering in traffic - trying to catch me as I clipped the end of a double white line, and other pair were total shits who tried entraping me.
Mr TPM on his R series BMW - fine no problem. Senator drivers, polite excellent drivers, no problem.
