38 degrees under shadow, stay half an hour under sun you will see if you dont go unconcious ;D

I remember those lovely days well!  Afternoon siesta, with the window shutters closed and laying on my bed enjoying the shade, ready for the late afternoon / evening walks into Valletta, or going to Sliema; ah.  great days!! 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) ;) ;)

 :) very nice..

but if you have to work in a job dress its  :-/

When I went to school it was always in a light cottton dress, and every classroom had ceiling fans, so it was just great :-* :-* :-*.

During breaks we used to play in the wonderful heat, but I don't know if I could do that now. ::) ::) ::)

Lizzie, 20 years ago hot was of no importance to me..but now if I stay more than 1 hour I really feel uncomfortable and need a shade..and too much water..

I always used to wonder Cem why the old of Malta generally stayed in the shade.  Now I know that as you get older you withstand extremes of temperature far less. :'( :'(

But I, perhaps as I was born into 102 degrees of heat, still love DRY heat, but hate the very humid temperatures we can get in the UK that are a fraction of what I am used to abroad.  British houses are not designed and furnished for heat either, unlike say the houses and flats I lived in during my years in Malta. 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

I stayed in London for a short period on autumn..temperatures was perfect not hot not cold..rains some..was romantic weather..really prefer that generally..

cant swim everyhour or stay near seashore and theres no swimming pool handy so hot not for me..

That is often what British people cannot understand Cem ::) ::).  How UK weather can be so appealing to those from abroad who have, what the British like to think, is perfect weather!

Just proves how humans are never happy with what they have!  And just to prove it Cem.........I would swap my place for one in Malta anyday; that is my second (perhaps first) home! :D :D 8-) 8-) 8-)
