The roads are such a dangerous place and are made worse by people who think it is ok to drive like an idiot because everyone else does.

I try to drive as safely as possible whenever I get behind the wheel, that way I know that I am making myself and my family as safe as possible in the car. I know it is frustrating when people don't indicate etc. but getting worked up about it does not put you in the right frame of mind for driving and probably makes you just as bad as them.

Remember people that driving is a privilege and not a right!!!!  :y

but why should we have to sit at a junction waiting to find out where they are going,am not dangerous, just making progress as i was taught in my class 1 test

..........there is a world of difference between making progress with all due diligence and safety and dominating the road space based on the size and weight of the vehicle concerned and the impatience of the individual driving it ;)

The reference to progress in your class 1 test would have been centered on the foregoing parameters

When I did my LGV and PCV training, not that long ago, the instructors were at pains to

a) insist that the correct procedures were followed as it would be an instant "fail" to be in the wrong lane or not indicate ( and lets not talk about mirrors !!!! 14 "mirror looks" to go around one roundabout !!! now THAT took some getting used to !!)

b) teach you NOT to believe anyone else's "indications or lack therof, as I was told .. "always expect the buggers to lie or change their mind, and they'll expect your 44 tonnes to behave like a mini"

Still .. I think it made me a better driver overall, and at least I now know what the poor sod in his LGV is having to put up with !!

This is the exact same thing i was told when sitting my PCV . But it's a totally different situation when you are out on the road with a VERY tight schedule and upto 75 innocent people , whos  safety you have to consider as well . I try my best to drive 'proper' but at times it's very hard . And frustrating .  >:( :'(
