Can't remember where I saw it (possibly the Two Ronnies), but many years ago I saw a spoof classified ad read out on TV which went along the lines of "Wanted one Rolls Royce, will swap matchbox full of assorted buttons. Contact Ron Hopeful....."

In browsing through the car ads today, I found another Ron Hopeful:

Got half its mileage.

Bought mine 2.5 years ago for 4 grand less.
