here is what I think,

1. sometimes members may get upset from some debates or some direct insults.. (dont expect the same reaction from everyone)  or they may have personal problems and then they can leave..

2. showing some interest for this person dont hurt anyone, except others who want also interest too..

3. and some "helping" members showing the door also makes the problem more complicated..

4. if you are boring from a subject simply dont read it..

and having fun with it may sound normal for the young members but not for everyone..
