my teenage son and daughter call Friends feel good tv....that show makes me angry, stupid canned laughter and american idiots....and all the hugging for no reason, etc

Oh yes Zulu!  I had to carryout research at uni on how this whole episode in particular matched the reality of that dreadful war, and undertook an essay to explain the correlation.  It was quiet amazing how closely the facts portrayed in humour by the various characters did match known facts and personalities of Passchendaele, even after removing the elements of dramatization, in 1917 8-) 8-)
