Good Old BT
« on: 23 August 2009, 11:23:50 »

They Just rang me up to tell me they have paid an overpayment of £22 back to my bank.

This morning after phoning them to complain for the 4th time that I wanted monthly billing a lovly lady BASED in the UK finally sorted it for me.  It only took 3 months.   :-/

But  :y :y :y to them, once sorted paper work wise the refund and confirmation call was an unexpected bonus.  :y

BT's biggest problem (like a lot of other companies) is the use of the Indian call centre.  They dont dont listen, talk overyou and get paid by results (mainly commision) so it was such a blessing to speak to a young lady from the UK.

1st call this morning I got put on hold, and got disconected, who was I speaking to, correct, the Indian call centre.

I agree, it shows the practical difficulty with 'outsourcing' :( :y :y

I agree. I used to do the majority of my banking with HSBC but after they used call centres in India, it just didn't work. Person down the other end would be second guessing what you were trying to say. Different mentality.
