Disc 'finalising'
« on: 01 September 2009, 19:40:17 »

Thought that I'd download one of my iTunes playlists to disc, so that we'd have some decent music playing in the tractor on our journey to Newent ......
Disc burned okay, but won't play in the car's CDR500, or my music centre. However, it plays perfectly well in my neighbour's ghetto-blaster!

I'm told that the disc needs to be 'finalised' - can anyone explain/help?
Apparently, this can be done by running the disc thro' our household DVD player ...... anyone?

What software did you use to burn the disc?

The software/application that created the disc needs to be used to finalise it.

The software you used needs to finalise disk.  Also, if its just MP3s on there, it won't play in CDR500.  CDRs of any description aren't recommended in any Omega stereo
