For long distance hiking I always use Vesta meals.  Easy to cook, not too bad taste wise but very light and dehydrated.  If you are caravaning then why dont you just take steak, veg and potatoes?

Of course, if you have never tried ration pack meals.........  ::) ::) ::)

The old style compo ration were great .i used to love it when me dad came home from exercise with a load of compo :) the steak and mince and peaches were my favourite  also used to love the tin with all the boiled sweets and cadburys chocolate in it ,never could work out why there was only 4 sheets of toilet roll in a tin,till one of me mates told me why ;D ;D ;D dont ask if you dont want to be shocked  ;D ;D ;D ;D

somehow i did not think a quad would get caught by 2 female coppers in an astra diesel panda car...... ::) ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D it was funny watching him slow down and then go the other way it was a bit like bull fighting really....then he got bored and left via the rear footpaths and over the walkway bridge over the m54.....never to be seen again lol
