Sorry to say mate, but I echo the sentiments of others here when they say that she's found somebody else.

Not what you wanted to hear I'm sure, but there's no other reason why she would change so quickly.

Just got back from my girlfriends. She has been very strange with me for past couple of weeks,hardly any texts or calls and when we were together virtually no affection/hugs/kisses or any of the usual stuff. So tonight i asked her what was wrong and she bursts into tears with the "its not you its me" line. To cut a very long story short she says she still loves me.....but not as much as she did! Can somebody please tell me what the hell that means?
So after a long chat and floods of tears from her she says she doesnt know whats changed,she says i havnt done or said anything wrong or upset her or anything. So basically shes came away with this and cant give me a reason why. Up until tonight i thought we were hunky dory,we went out last weekend and had a great time,seen her couple times this week and shes been fine,then she hits me with this tonight.
A lot of you are probably thinking shes met someone else.....im 100% convinced she hasnt.
We have a family wedding on friday,now she says she needs a couple of days to sort her feelings out and cant tell me if she will be coming or not. Got a feeling she wont and thats the end of us.
Really fed up tonight and not usually one for pouring my heart out,but i thought one or two of the lady OOFers may have an insight. I know its late. Just dont know what to think.

If it's the end then so be it, theres no point in flogging away at a relationship thats failing. You will only end up building resentment and hating each other! Sometimes people just change and grow apart, not necessarily done anything or found anyone else just one of those things! Sad but true! Give her the space to work out what she wants, sometimes some time out can re-inforce what you have, things can just get too comfortable and stagnate!
Go out with your mates, have some fun and leave her to it! We women are complex beings and you'll save yourself a whole lot of heartache if you don't look too deeply into our strange ways!

Been there and got the t-shirt ...... i tend to agree with both views here .... there is something not right but is it another mmmm .... then again as Ljay says sometimes things can just get stale and go cold .... its not easy though  ..... sometimes i would love to go back to the single life .... the best fun i had was 5 years ago while being single , not having to worry about pleasing someone , do what you like when you like etc , not coming in from a 62hr week to tidy up after others    ..... sometimes i feel like getting my own place again and staying single for life  , its certainly easier ......  best to give her room and you never know you might enjoy it better single too . Plenty more fish in the sea as they say

Thats why i got me a new motorbike, at 6k its cheaper than a women per year to run, starts first time, and when i get bored i just take the key out. 

Only thing it craves is petrol, which i can easily provide 

Very true Tunnie....................although the two are not directly comparable.
I enjoy the company of women ...........and would not like to be single again.
Best to enjoy a womans feminine curves.........and their special warm moist places and be happy in their company.
I find it best not to engage women on an intellectual level however............they have their limitations.

i got the same speech from my ex mrs she wasnt interested in sorting the problems out the next thing i find out is shes been going out with the slimmer model so i told her where to go killed me inside i dont want to be liek that again

im staying single much better i brought an rs turbo to keep satfied but that was just liek a women kept breaking down every month when you want some fun so i chopped it in for an omega like a FB they wont let you down

i do know what  logic is an unknown to them  so while your sitting thinking WTF just happened  she probably wont know too

let her know you care and  leave her to work it out for herself

Thanks for your replies and advice folks.Its helped a lot. 
Iv noted a few good points,i reckon give her some time and wait and see is good advice and in the meantime i'll keep myself busy to take my mind of it.
For the ones who said shes seeing someone else, sorry guys theres no way. Im her 1st partner in 5 years after the break up of her marriage. Shes not the type to see guys on a whim. But i appreciate your comments non the less.

That explains why he didn't buy one with a finely balanced engine. It's the "washing machine on spin cycle" syndrome.
