Nothing wrong with the 4pots, I get 10mpg better at 80+ in the 2.2 compared to the Senator!

I'd never have got those bolts back in the aux belt tensioner  :y

.... apparently if you take your foot off the accelerator in the sennie the MPG improves  ;)

I'll be bringing (but not using) my locking kit & 30mm spanner so they can be used at either location (or both) ...

I managed to squeeze 37 mpg from the Senator on the run back to uni, but that was doing 65 mph all the way back!

I can get 36mpg doing 85mph with 3 people in the car in the 2.2 on a motorway run!

That extra kit will come in handy! Thanks!  :y

My stuff arrived today from Autovaux, wondering if I've got the right thing though as Tunnie said his was GM and mine doesn't look like it is - I know it's a different part as we have different engines but mine seems to made by SKF - is this right?

Mine should be GM its back home so not checked yet, they better have sent me the right kit!

When I rang up they said it would be a genuine GM kit sent...

but Gates are apparently one of (if not the) best ... have done 6k since it was fitted ...
