Just been over the road , kind of explained this situation, and they're gonna pop it all back together and drop it off in a bit...  no charge...

the gaffer says , No fix , no fee, and we'd rather you were a happy camper .....  even if we didn't wave magic wands...  they're happy as long as i'm happy kinda thing.

So I'll load it up with useful bits ( I too have a jack and axle stands .in decent nick..) and we'll see about getting it over there tonight .

the embarrassing thing will be that i haven;t been able to take it to the car wash.... so it's only nominally "black" by nature....  most of it's "brown"

ive tried everything, one guy's missus is ready to pop one out (i even offered him a tenner) but he'd only accept £20 (joke).
another is away on a holiday, and another cant be arsed. so cannot pop down, sat nav said 2.28 hrs 99.8 miles (usually what i do in a days work) so next time will book a days hol well in advance!! have a good time and think of me when you all have your feast and (only) one pint of booze! :'(

Yeah, shame you can't make it.  Sorry we didn't give much warning, but it was all arranged (both events) in a hurry...

current plan is for Cornishtaz to get to mine before 9 , and go from there, but , as usual, things may change , I'm sure he'll let you know if there's a problem and he needs a lift.

Given the traffic issues right now, with the M40 and A34 being solidly blocked ALONG with ALL the usual back routes around that....  i suspect we may move the meega an hour or so later than originally planned.....

I might be heading over to the mainland about April time, to the Manchester area, so if there are any more parties planned I might be able to make an appearance and join in the craic!
