I would happily pay up, unfortunately My whisky money for the month has already been spent tonight..... :-[  and swmbo says I can't have anymore :D

You mean that even whisky money is controlled Vamps  :o ::)

No..... :D there is a very healthy allowance in the weekly shopping budget :y my only embarrassment is the glass recycling box..... :-X

 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Now Vamps, that's a good one  :D
I'd say, if you have one available, use a tin or plastic mug instead of glasses coz SWMBO might start controlling that as well  ::) :-X :-X :-X

It is the empty bottles that go in the glass recycling box ::) ::) ::)  I worry about some of the members on here....... :D :D :D

Maybe you could enlighten us with some names ...  ::) ::) ::) :D :D :D :-X

i made a pneumatic can crusher, so i can fit hundreds in the box, so i only put it out when its full, it looks REALLY bad when its put out. i put the bags of newspapers on top, it then looks like i read alot! which for some reason is more acceptable:y

And swmbo said it was my fault, clever cloggs >:(

Master Vamps asked me to book his theory test, he said just type in 'riving theory test' so I did, and simply clicked on the first on the list, I did not look at any others ::) ::)
So booked it through 'Theorytest.net' without realising it. I did say that it was expensive £48 and thought it was odd that however you pay you pay through paypal.  Not a problem anyway, I have a paypal account so signed in and paid.  Job done. :y

swmbo has been sniffing around, the true cost of the test is £31 so I have paid £16 in agency fees, and of course because this was a paypal payment I cant stop it, though not sure you can stop a debit payment anyway, but you can with a credit card, which is what I would usually use when buying anything on the Internet. And yes, I did tick to say I agreed with their terms and conditions >:( One lives and learns.... >:(

I think you'll find you cant.

It sounds to me Mike that you let your heart overtake your usual cautious brain ::) ::)

It is amazing how with your kids you can do that when you are trying to help them, and then find out you have dropped a clanger!!  ::) ::):D :D ;) ;)

why did you book it directly, when i was learning to drive the instructor booked it all for me.

Same with bike, they lined up all the tests.

I am his instructor.... ::) ::) for the time being, getting his confidence up, not doing any of the maneuvering stuff, leave that to a proper instructor as times have changed so don't want to teach him anything the wrong way.. :)

/me Spams Vamps with more bogus email offers.  ;D ;D

I managed to do this all by myself thank you very much  :P :P :P

It is a genuine, he will get his test, you just pay more for it.  How a government department can allow such a thing is a different story.... ::) ::)
This government has allowed a whole host of rip-offs of the public. E.g. clampers to name but one!!
