cyclists that ride side by side ignoring motorists who want to pass should be knocked down like skittles.

Pavements - maybe cyclists should ride on pavement until, say 10/12yrs old, then compulsory cycling proficiency.

Hopefully, all the iiresponsible cyclists will end up dead quickly, so problem solved.

Agree, when they turn into teenagers.  :y

How many points would you give though.

Sounds like Death Race 2000, would driving through a car park gain extra points.   ;D ;D ::)

Pavements ok if done responsibly
In the event of an accident involving a cyclist the driver of a motor vehicle is accountable
Cyclist running red lights is ok if it doesn't cause any danger to other road users or themselvesCyclists should pass stationary traffic on the outside like motorcyclists
Wearing of helmets for cyclists should be mandatory

Cyclists have no more right to use the pavement than car drivers, they are for the use of pedestrians ONLY. OK to run a red light as long as they are no danger????? :o Just who would be the Arbiter of the term 'no danger' , the cyclist? :-?

A quick bark from a pair of 45 DCOEs normally moves them. :y

Cyclists should obey all the rules of the road Yep.

Cyclists should be held to the same scruteny of motorists Yep.

Cyclists should pass stationary traffic on the outside like motorcyclists Voted yes, but where there is a risk of the traffic suddenly pulling away (as if the cyclist is not there, and, of course, not allowing them to get out of danger) I can understand why they don't.

A pedestrian knocked over by a cyclist while walking in a cycle lane is a fault yep, if it's a dedicated cycle lane, otherwise I'd say cyclists should give way to pedestrians.

All the rest, I don't agree with, in varying degrees.

I used to cycle a great deal from when I was about 10 or 12 until about 30 and, having recently tried it again a few times, I think the problem we have at the moment is that we have a significant proportion of slobs currently driving cars who are among the first generation whose parents took them everywhere in a 4x4 when they were young. They therefore can't see the point of cycling, have probably never done it and begrudge them every inch of the road they take up.  >:(

I've had that once, overtook swerved in causing me to brake and then slammed on the anchors.  When I went up the inside to avoid a collision he swerved in again knocking me into the parked cars.  Police were useless despite literally landing at their feet  >:(

That wouldnt help very much.
To drive a car you have to pass a test and how many idiots are still on the road.

There was no "all cyclists should be shot on sight" I bet it would have got a good vote Lol.
