WHo is going to notice no tax and no MOT in this weather?

Borrow the Pupmobile tax disc :y

Any ANPR van....

and you often get them on the Road by Debs Towers, frequently pass it out that way  :y

I feared that might be the case......so, until the pup-mobile is water-tight, I`m a pedestrian. :(

Ski's??
Sledge???

Poor Debs!!! :-*

Great work Debs, have they cleared the road yet?

The county council are tight-fisted; the gritting (yellow) bins are all empty; and have been for weeks and the lorry schedule is clearly reduced on the published gritting circuit....anyone would think it was  'THEIR-OWN' money `they`re not spending. :(

Nice work Debs :y I take it the next it the next project is a snow plow attachment for the landy ;D

Funnily enough......I am considering just that! :D

A skew-mounted front blade; cut from the side of a large diameter steel pipe (scrapyard).....industrial castors mounted on each end of the blade and a mechanism for lifting/adjusting ploughing height. ;)

A nice, welding project for the Summertime. :y

Bung one on the tractor.....I would not put anything on a land rover that would put strain through the chassis

Built to last, just need to occasionally rustproof chassis ;)

Heard a stat a few months ago that something like 75% of all proper (defender style) landrovers are still running ;)

Bit of a pig to change them. Probably a lot of fridges and freezers welded into to them ;D

The trouble you have with that one, must be worth replacing it. At some point in its life, its been abused or not undersealed properly.

LOL, yes ;D

IIRC, top is all ali? So that should be fine. I know the old ones used to rust badly underneath, and were supposed to be undersealed regularly as a workaround.

I know a few people into offroading, and people do seem to be able to keep the buggers running cheaply.  Probably a bit like OOFers with their Omegas :D

Thats the trouble, the top is body is mostly alloy but, the bulk heads and chassis are not.

Underseal wont help as the box chassis sections rust from the inside out.

Its gonna be a sod to fix but, we need it and it has a cherry picker mounted on it so not easy to replace

Trouble is..if you build a snow plough, it wont snow for another ten years.
