The problem with this site is it's a bit like the old days when if you had a Beetle,a on coming Beetle driver would wave at you.It's friendly with people willing to help unlike other forums where people just want to know where you can get the latest go faster stripe or where to get a flashing Jesus figure.
It's the people on the site that make it,not the type of car or make.    

Takes me back, had a Beetle for 13 years, suffered a cracked windscreen (crazed), so when waved by oncoming Bug cleverly decided to open side window to wave back. Bad Mistake, finished up with 10,000 pieces of windscreen in my lap at 60mph. I was still finding bits of glass two years later!!!!!!!!!!!!

I remember when I joined I thought I might rack up A few hundred posts so that I could buy a few bits and pieces if need be,and hang around long enough to learn how to keep my car properly maintained (still havent done that bit) then slip away quietly.  
I might try and give it up soon,just to see if I can.

Albs (which is short for Albino) has a Transit Van which has loveheart windows in the backdoors & a Queen Sized bed in the back so the pair can get comfortable on the stopovers, I will find the pictures and PM that Albs posted to me.
