Was doing 75mph at one point.

Well I agree with you Tunnie. I think that the chiltern line is good. It was always on time when I had to get from London to Beaconsfield for my court appearances job. :y

that Aston they end on, notice when he's driving through country, speedo and rpm = 0 ;)

Well I agree with you Tunnie. I think that the chiltern line is good. It was always on time when I had to get from London to Beaconsfield for my court appearances job. :y

Used it for 2 years, their better trains do 100, on the whole its a very reliable line when compared to likes of West Coast. Delays for a few mins common, but never that long.

Needs to be electric though, diesels too noisey, really was a backards step from the smooth run of loco hauled trains.
