oh, almost forgot , Amitryptaline as well   100mg Daily for life....  apparently, as a side effect,   it reduces involuntary movement in sleep , and means I wake up able to get dressed instead of with hands cramped to buggery...

the antidepressant and beta blocking bits are merely happy by products. !

sorry to hear your troubles raising their head again ... but as anyone with a back injury will confirm, it never heals properly and is always a weak point, as Max said you end up having to rule out certain things which can be hard to do ...

My trouble isn't as bad as yours (prolapsed disc L5/S1) and is pretty much kept under control with visits to the chiropractor, but I know when I've not been sitting right or lifting something wrong. It was enough to make me get rid of the pre-facelift omega and swap it for a facelift one due to the different seat shape ... hope your back behaves itself again!!!
