Yep - I recall a day under such a car...  :y

Nice to see it's being sorted - I really like the car, and  recall it was good  to drive  :y

Its fun in most snow situations, but its also embarassing sometimes. Like when your sitting at a level crossing, the barriers go up and everything f/w/d in front pulls away easily and your left sitting there spinning the wheels, snow mode on or off, hardly any throttle, nothing makes a difference.

It was a good drive. Mrs TB and I loved that car (once it was sorted), and gave us 18 months good service. Sorry to see it go, but know it went to a good home :)

Yes, when I had to take it to Reading this time last year in appalling weather conditions, I put a (TD) engine block in the boot. That helped ;D

Its bl@@dy lovely to drive, when its going ::). Cant wait to get the head back on, if it isn't u/s that is, not too sure at the moment.

Problem will be, it still needs an MOT (£35), Tax (£104) and a front screen (£65 excess) so even when the heads done it will still be a few weeks before its on the road.

Can't be long though, I cant handle having to drive the wifes Audi, which I may have mentioned before is slower than a glacier (got beat off the lights by a 40 footer the other day)
