I got it from Autovaux Tunnie, it is for a Coil Pack.
Or should I get from Vx?

No autovaux is fine, as i said, you just get same Bosch part from a Vx dealer. Be careful using autovaux though, they have a habbit of selling 'genuine' parts when they are not.

Autovaux are fine for certain things. This includes cambelt kits, thermostats, water pumps, and coil packs.

What you mustn't buy from autovaux, are aux belts, cam cover gaskets, and certain seals.

Autovaux are to expensive for coil apcks, I use these:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vauxhall-Ignition-Coil-2-4-6-VectraB-Omega-9118115_W0QQitemZ190343811807QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item2c516012df

As they are genuine Bosch (so the same as Vx or autovaux supplied itmes)

I have just had one from here:-
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=300383682405&ssPageName=STRK:MERFB:IID

These were recommended by Loo-knee(Daz) and apparently several people are using them with no problems....

Hi to you all, I bought a Vauxhall Omega Elite 1999 3.0ltr V6 4wks ago. As of last Saturday being 6/3/10 it starting to miss, thinking then it was petrol related as it was low. This was not the case as the HT leads were checked for the spark, as on No1 lead there was no spark so i bought a new set and replaced them all with no difference. As then on Wednesday i took out the Coil Pack and then tested it for a spark with the tool used to do that, as be it the No1 port had no spark and neither did No4 which is adjacent to No1. Where as on the Saturday prior it was firing on 5 Cyl and now as it firing on 4. As i was looking on here at the forum it seemed to be its a common fault, so as i am new to a Vauxhall that i never had before please advise me is this the problem i have to change the Coil Pack or could it be the Ignition Control Unit? Please let me know a.s.a.p. THANK YOU.

Sounds like you've tested (and proven) the DISpack to be faulty. They do normally fail across 2 cylinders :y :y

I'd replace it... I'm sure that will solve your problems :y

Thank you for your reply. And thanks for you saying they do normally fail across two cylinders. As things are then is there any point in having a diagnostic test done as this seems as said in my earlier post its a common fault? Please let me know, and thank you agian.
