I don't really think it is very good for any of you to be slagging off anyone being honest.
I am getting concerned where this forum is actually going.
I am dissappointed being fair.

I agree with Daz & recall something about placing yourself in someone elses shoes.

This is a car fourm after all, so anything else should be regarded, IMHO, pretty much as "pub talk" ..........

I dont think anything happened, definately nothing i saw last night was enough to make her leave.

a complex character, often patronising and regularly contradicted herself, although she was also quick to apologise if she knew she had done wrong, which is admirable.

I am not backstabbing, I told her as much when she was here.

I think she had quite a few problems that no one was aware of, and yes due to certain things happening in her life it seems to cause complications on her time wise, which in turn screwed things up for her and others.  But as you mention she was allways quick to appologise.

I for one wish her all the best for her future and her family and hope that one day she pops back on to the OOF for a catch up.

I quite liked Di, she added a bit of character to the forum. Not everybody's cup of tea I know, but I enjoyed her posts. Never got to meet her either, despite living just down the road

We are a community. There will always be people we don't get on with, and those we do. Thats life.  However, everybody adds something to the community, and everyone is welcome is long as they stick within the rules that the Admins define for the overall good of the community.  As adults, if we can't learn to get along or ignore people we don't like, there is no hope.


I don't know the specifics of this latest event, and even if I did I'm not sure it would be appropriate to comment.

Even though the 'final straw' of this episode has been confided to this scribe, I'm in agreeance here too.
 

I've advised Diane to contact the Admins with any offending material she has, and let the team investigate and/or take the appropriate action if necessary.
Any further move must be hers and hers alone.


Personally, I'd like to see a happy outcome from this episode, and remain hopeful that it'll indeed materialise.
