Gave up on piano lessons. Been trying to play guitar badly for years & never got that right either. I do own a lovely Yamaha 6 string acoustic but only know a few chords, a few riffs & other odds & sods, one step up from someone who'se never picked a guitar up but i can't play properly. :(

been playing guitar off and on for years but have started again recently and am enjoying teaching others to play -its amazing how the age of a classic song seems irrelevant as the guys I am helping are about 20plus years younger than me and still namecheck stuff from the 60s onwards that theyd like to learn :y

My lad is learning......the violin  :( Why do they always choose the violin. He hasn't got a clue but the missus tells me he will improve. Not before I've shoved it right up his arris he wont.

My Son is pretty good on the (Leccy) Guitar--we have a bit of fun together,I'm crap though-all thumbers and fings.
