Took mine to Mr Tyre in Lincoln last year.
Terry the tester failed it on a cracked windscreen and bald rear tyres. Both problems I knew about. I fitted new tyres and a windscreen.

It passed.

After he gave me the cert. I pointed out the blowing exhaust. Its only blowing a bit, in three places.........was his reply.

I can safely say my car would never fail an mot cause my mate is an mot tester always get adviser never a fail but only when his boss isn't around :)
