Are you a truck driver? Tell us about the interesting load you had, the nice scenery...the best road side cafe you always eat at...and a good picture of their best breakfast. I'm always looking for good full english breakfast's

Trying to think of something more interesting than a model Omega. ::)  ;D

Kevin

;D ;D Kevin...exact same thought. I've got a partially finished 1:43 Facelift Omega and a stripped pre face Omega model...but decided against them.
It's got to be something smallish, and able to be carried about easily. I've got a few spare 'Omega 3.2 V6' badges laying around, so thought I could attach them to some items...that makes them Omega related then  :D

Thanks Martyn...that's a big help  :y
That's exactly what I was hoping for, a bit of networking...helping fellow OOFers out creates excellent links between members.

You need something like a sorts trophy, with a wooden base.

Mascot on top.

and the OOF car loog on the wooden base.

Not so sure about Josh providing a camera, even a cheapie. At the end of the day, we are all strangers.  I'm sure everyone has access to a digital camera or phone...

I see your point TB, but it's all about trust, and the willingness to extend it to people you've never met, and I didn't want anyone to feel excluded because they don't have a camera. I know some people don't, and though a £19.99 cheap digi camera would make sure they were included. I don't expect it back, it will get damaged through no fault of anyone at some point, that's what happens to things passed around.
It's a great gesture Josh, but TB's got a point, there aren't that many people around now who haven't got a camera of some sort, whether it's a phone or 'proper' camera

I'm looking forward to this  :y :y

Jon

It should be good Jon...the more members onborad the better it'll be! Hopefully it won't take long for it to meander its way along to the S.Wales Cardiff/Merthyr area...and then along to elsewhere

That's nice to hear, not many of us can say that.. :y
HGV and PSV were, and have always been part time options, must admit I like the buses, as the load gets on and off itself, on the other hand in a truck you don't get police warnings not to stop, get out of town, Scarborough, till you get to Middlesbrough, and a Police Escort picking you up South of Whitby and making sure you do not call in on the way past....oh the good old days.... :y

Must agree....spent a lot of time there during the 80's and early 90's. Used t run a Cub Scout Pack and we would stay in Hawsker, a stones throw away, several times a year....... :y :y

Would a small bear (or similar) from somewhere like the bear factory with a plain black T-shirt do? Maybe Mrs TB could get the oof logo stitched on ;) :y

I'll have a look here, got loads of Xmas fayre stuff left from last year!

Well I've had a dig in the cupboard here, through all the leftover Xmas fayre stuff and found loads of stuffed stuff!

A few small bears, dogs, rabbits, a rather amusing looking Taz devil (cartoon variety) and a rather fetching little sheep. I'll snap a few pics and add them to this thread :y
