BJ i think you’re taking a strong view on people that find a joke funny at the end of the day every one is different and what you find funny other people wont necessarily find funny. I read some comments on here that make me very angry but I just let it go. There is no point insulting people because they laughed at a joke or disagreed with your opinion on something. Comedians make a living out of jokes, if there is a comedian that is to near the mark for you you don’t go to there show you don’t shoot the man.

time for a bit of chill/ "agree to disagree" methinks now. Our laughing at such "jokes" (and I stress that we are laughing at  the "joke" not at the actual event that spawned them) doesnt  make us crayon using idiots with our knuckles dragging on the floor as you would suggest Banjax (well, not all the time) and neither does it mean that we dont catergorize such a joke as "sick". Can understand how such reactions to said "jokes" could offend others however. Truce now?

i thought we were pushing the boundaries here? 1000's dead - fair game but call someone an idiot and it's frowned upon?

i'm just fascinated by where the limits are - doesn't seem balanced if you ask me

the phrase "careful what you wish for" springs to mind.................but i'll stfu now

A joke is a joke and it wouldn’t be funny if it wasn’t aimed some where. Spitting the dummy out the pram over this matter in my opinion is childish. And categorising everyone that laughed a moron is just plain stupid and in writing that I think you knew what response you would get and wished for.

yeah, I do see that BJ, just thought we were getting a bit heated for a while there. For what its worth, my wife never finds these things funny and gives me the "look" if I repeat any in her presence (which I obviously try not to do !). Never a bad thing to have discussions on "tricky" topics like this though is it as it should generate a bit of thought and questioning on how we view various things. Guess the key thing is that most of us really do not intend to offend anyone which is surely a positive at least even if we have different views

I agree it is good to disagree some times ive had a couple on this forum before and they were both with tunnie but i must admit i read some of his post a laugh and i don’t dislike him for it and its only words punched into a keyboard and if we were standing face to face im sure we would still disagree but disagree with and pint in hand and have a laugh about it.
