We have a Gorgeous Roxer Puppy who is now 13 weeks old.

His Daddy is a Pedigree Rotty, His Mummy a Pedigree Boxer.. so does this make him a Mongrel?
When I mentioned this to Mrs. Loo-knee she pulled him to her chest and put a hand over his unmuffled ear

What do you reckon??

They're not so highly strung and are less prone to any breed related health problems.

Agreed .. and "crossbred" is where the lineage of the parents is known, "mongrel" is when the lineage, or even "who" the sire is, is unknown.

Yes they do as I have one and she is a springer spaniel cross golden retriever and she is the most lovely lade back dog you you could have and her name is Lucy and she wouldn't hurt any one but lick you to death lol

Have never seen a Dachshund/ Irish wolfhound cross- cant think why they are so rare  :-/
