I hope we do get a decen twinter for once. Apart from last year, we haven't had a decent winter for years!

Oh yes, the site of the future Edward IV victory in 1461 over the Lancastrians.  Not a great King, but still relatively successful for this period of history :y :y

No not then, but of course their day would come after the Battle of Stoke Field (1487), the marriage between Henry VII and Elizabeth of York, and so the creation of the House of Tudor that ruled via the likes of Henry VIII and Elizabeth I throughout the 16th Century 8-) 8-) 8-)

Yes, those were the days Zulu, with steam and more steam keeping everything going!!  Engines that had been destined for the scrapyard suddenly were re-commissioned to cover the broken down diesels ( ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

What a winter, but I was sunning it up in Malta at the time!! :D :D 8-) 8-) 8-)
