Over the past 3 weeks my local Shell punted V-power from 97.9 to 98.9 and now its 99.9 pence a litre.

Got loads of the packs of cards (like Top Trumps) but I still have not won the track day in friggin' Italy.   >:(

Anyone got kids that are collecting the cards??  Got loads to give away if interested....

FWD is horrible and sub 40l Diesels are boring.

I don't like torque steer, pulling steering, wheel spinning when pulling out of side roads.

Don't like the sound car Diesels make - they usually sound horrible. Best sounding is the V16 charge cooled EE lump.
Most FWD don't suffer torque steer now - equal length driveshafts and all that.  Most modern diesels have performance approaching similar sized petrols, though slightly different driving style required.

BTW, I do not class the Omega diesel as decent or modern!

Still not a FWD fan it just feels wrong, but then I had bikes for years and my last 6 cars were RWD, steering going numb when you put your foot down is odd. Also lift off oversteer scares me, if I drove a FWD hot hatch like I drove the Sunbeam I would have crashed it very quickly! (Brake hard turn in early then power out - in the same method some FWD cars would let go).

Being a little over 40 I have come across RWD a lot more than say a 30 year old, and I suppose this comes into it as well
