I often get a nice, warm feeling, but that's the incontinence.

Glad to hear your news Debs. :y

Ok, she`s home (minus her troublesome lady-bits).....she walked out from the Vets like nothing had happened; I can`t say I`d feel like walking anywhere if I`d had major abdominal surgery! ;)

She`s presently sleeping quietly on the couch but may 'lower herself' to eat some ground beef later......that`s before I peel her a grape! ;D

What a day......what a relief! :y

that great news they are normaly fine as long as op is done in time  and recover fast

she be fine now

im glad shes ok

my rotty was fairly young when she had it 5 years
but my lab that had was 12 like yours she was very touch and go with neally dident make it

luckly with rotty id seen it before and knew what it was strait away

re grapes id be very carful with them  some dogs they do nothing to

other times  they can cause acute renal failer in dogs

what debs dog had is very comon in bitchs that have not had a liter or been spayed

its worth knowing the symtoms if you got a bitch
as they wont normaly survie more that 24 hours without being operated on

as it can hapen in hours they normally look prity unwell
often have a nasty discharge from down there

as they get worse they will get very week and till there legs give out

if not operated on in time it will be fatal

Well, Tegwen is doing great today after a good night`s sleep and is now holding court on the sitting-room couch. :y

I think she`s now forgiven me for leaving her at the Vet`s for surgery, yesterday......but, doubtless I`ll be made to pay (in some way) later; as soon as she`s back to her usual "50% too clever", scheming and manipulative-ways! ;D
