Why would we allow such people continued freedom to peddle this particular form of hatred and provocation dressed up as religious indignation?

I despair that the majority of Muslims in this country who don't hold such extreme views allow it to go unchallenged, to be honest. Or are their protests out there but not as news worthy, I wonder?

I also wonder what would be the reaction from the Christian churches if similar protests were carried out by extremists acting in their name?

the Daily Mail, who, lets not forget, supported the Nazis, wishes us to be outraged by these extreme nuts? To me its a perfect example of us being a tolerant, civilized democracy and the right to shout about whatever nonsense is in your head is part of that democracy 

Laugh at them, ignore them but don't ban them. We fought a war over our freedoms remember? 

Which is all great, but what they stand for and what they want is not acceptable.

I think it's about time the authorities wake up and realise that this multicultural experiment imposed on us hasn't worked. Muslims can't and won't integrate.

If someone was spouting vile filth like what these so called extremist are doing, in my name, I would have something to say about it. But the fact that there are no so called moderate muslims stepping up to say 'hang on, that's not us and not what we believe or want', surely indicates it is want they believe.

You say however that this might not be as newsworthy, but from our experience of muslims, it seems that if they want to be heard, they will make themselves be heard.

We can only take from this that this is the mainstream belief of muslims, it is true that they want coversion, subjugation or worse.

Sorry Geoff, but I cannot agree on that point.  You cannot tar all muslims with the same brush as here we are just talking about a very tiny minority.  Most muslims are already intergrated in our society, being no more 'difficult' than any other religion including Christians.  I have had muslims in my past workforce and I had absolutely no problems whatsoever.  Why should I have done?  They were British and no different than anyone else!!

If you watch the number of Political debate shows I do leading Muslims are very vocal in their condemnation of this minority in our midst, and extremist Islamic followers in general, stating very clearly that they do not represent them, nor the true teachings of Mohammad. 

They are very angry about their tactics and the shame being brought of the Islamic faith.

Sorry Lizzie, but it is like that. You hear it in pubs, clubs, I hear it at work, anywhere where people are sat talking. Just bring up the subject and I bet it turns to 'send them back to wherever they came from', albeit most of the people to which they refer are born here.
