What planet is the prosecutor on?  :-?

Aah that's a difficult one Andy; I've sat for many years in courtrooms in various parts of the country asking myself the very same question.

Except in a few notable cases that question remains an enigma wrapped up in utter confusion as the facts of most cases brought before any court seem to take a different hue when tried in the ordered sanctity of such places.

Being serious, he pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, how was it dangerous driving and what would the possible alternatives a court could handed out to him had he pleaded not guilty?  :-/

dangerous driving = "I don't like your attitude, and you happen to own a car" in this case, I think.

Having entered a plea to dangerous driving on the first occasion for a similar offence it would have been difficult for him to contest a similar charge for the second alleged offence.

The proximity of the pedestrians and the fact that a vehicle was pushed out onto a roadway probably didn't do him any favours.

I would add however that the quality of his legal representation would have to be questioned in light of the first plea. ((In the absence of the known facts)

Oh, this was almost prophetic.. the neighbour who treats the parking/turning area as his private builders yard has been parking his vans in his drive (shocker!) for the past week or so..

My other (nice!) neighbour moved out today ..

All the builders vans are back in the visitors parking/turning area  ::)

[edit] Shame I don't own anything big enough to push/drag his vans around ;D

Probably the default junior that turns up if he/she's being paid by the legal bit from your insurance. Unfortunately I've been in that situation myself.

You're not the first one to suggest a car meet ;) That would work - as long as we could find a day when he had all his vans out.. and the miserable old sod at number 8 didn't get his knickers in a knot about it ;D (Surprised he hasn't put a hex on the builder yet, actually!)

Weatherproof adhesive was always quite effective for sticking A4 sized notes to commuter cars left in our cul-de-sac. Carefully emptying all of the air out of the tyres was also quite good against repeat offenders.  ::)

I should probably add two points: 1. I've long since moved; 2. Air was released through the valves and NOT by using nails/screws as that would be both nasty and criminal. :-X
