I tend to agree. Dear old Godfrey is an insignificant man from an insignificant political party. Without his immature outburst .....he would no doubt have remained totally anonymous..... :-/ :-/
I think you may come to eat your words. I note the Express has today launched a campaign to leave the EU, which could be significant as it is the first mainstream paper to make such a call.
Although you may deride Geoffrey Bloom, he is one of the few (MP or MEP) to side with our fisherman over the disgraceful jettisoning of million of tonnes of deadd and dying fish which are accidentally netted in excess of the EU's stupid quota policy.
With regard to his comment about women's roles in the workplace, it may not be a populist view, but he is entitled to make it. I am a man of many differing views on different subjects, but should I hold an opinion on one subject which others believe to be wrong, is it sensible, or indeed logical, for those people to dismiss
all my opinions? Of course not, unless they are narrow-minded, that is.

He is right about the EU and he is right about the Common Fishery Policy.

UKIP is gaining traction, simply because it is the only party which is not dominated by europhiles.
