Trouble is, you have to have Sky.  And I really do not see the point :P

To keep Tunnie's Uncle Rupe in the leisure he's accustomed to obviously.

Actually not quite, each customer i refer puts me in a staff competition for a 3D TV  :D
So if TB signs up can he have the telly?

No. I'm taking it in damages for all the 4 pot and student abuse i get!  ;D

Indeed TB, and who wants to pay good money for multiple channels of absolute rubbish?  My ex and I did once and arrived at the conclusion it was money down the drain.

Also any Sky offer must be monitored closely for the time scale (agreement) running out  You can find yourself all so easily hooked into a contract that will cost you dear to terminate early.  Two years ago I had to enter into strong communication with Sky on behalf of a friend who had fallen foul of this one and had not cancelled in time.  It was only because I found Sky had not honoured their contract on a legal technicallity that I was able to get Sky to make their "contract" null and void ::) ::)

I did used to have Sky myself. Cancelled after a couple of year because I never watched it.

I did used to have ONdigital/ITVDigital, they cancelled it when they went bust.

I did used to have topuptv, cancelled after a couple of years as I never watched it.

Can you see a pattern forming ;D

For us, its films we were more interested in.  We might watch 1 film every couple of weeks on pay channels.

We decided it was cheaper to buy the DVD, or use the video shop (though that has recently closed :().

We did use Blockbuster Online and LoveFilm, but found we were not watching enough to warrant the subscription, and we always ended up with the 'wrong type' of film for what we fancied watching at that moment.
