Chains or Socks

Which do people think are better and anybody got any links to companies that actually have some in stock wheels are 225 55 16 and most supliers seem to have sold out unless you buy the 250 pound ones :( :(

socks are great,easy to fit/store
but
you can omly use them on snow use them on the tarmac and they destroyed in few minutes.
seam to be only to get them in small sizes.

You might be lucky and get tyres I tried to get 2 for the front of my mig only 1 tyre my size (205 65 15).
Im running 15" on the rear (snow) and the 17" on the front :o
Try to get Khumo the tread pattern is good for the snow :y

I use M & S thermal socks this weather - on my feet of course ;)
