yep it was on ch4, now if someone i find offensive and unfunny....like Cilla Black for example is on tv - i dont watch it, i turn off or turn over

Boyle's show simply isn't funny.  Not necessarily because it might offend some people, but because it's a load of largely regurgitated material fronted by a second-rate Jerry Sadowitz.

Comedy in my opinion has lost its way. . The like of Tommy Cooper, Ronnie Barker were just for me side splitting. I have watched Billy Connolly he isnt to bad but Peter Kay & Lee Evans are the most up to date funnymen for me.

Morales and self respect have been lost to stoop too such levels that picking on Jordan's child be classed as comedy. Same as that other clown Brand phoning Manwell to tell him his grand daughter was a tart or whatever. . How is that funny?

I believe this would come under the banner of alternative comedy Daz. I agree with a lot of what you say about the older comedians, but then their type of comedy would no longer termed as "classic" if it never changed. Personally I like some of the new alternative comedy, but if I don't I change channel or switch off - simple!

Yes  there  are kevin and taking the piss out of disable children is not one of them and I have a downs sister and if any one was to take the piss out of her then they would have me to deal with as she can't do nothing for her self but that  don't give them the right to tell jokes about people who are disable

Frankie Boyle is mild compared to some of the disabled people i come into contact through work,especially when they rip into each other about each others disability,he is offensive BUT they do put it on late at night and give a warning that it may offend,relax,they are only words.

 no joke is too crude or offensive to me  but thats me, everyone differs. its the father who should be getting all the abuse, he is the one who has turned his back on his own son. probably ashamed and embaressed of the way the boy is. any decent parent would not turn his/her back on there own child and see them as nothing but a burden like that frigging assole dwight yorke does. i know i wouldnt. and i know i wouldnt allow anyone to make fun of my child in any way.

personally i dont like jokes about disabled kids but it was funny i saw the show,i didnt like the part when he was on about paedos but it was funny...everyone has and is aloud to have different tastes and if thats not to your taste then dont watch you can turn over.i find watching peter barlow acting on corrie horrendous its an insult to the fans(and no i dont watch corrie the wife does,but if she didnt i would exorcise my right of free reomote access and turn the untalented ba@t@rd off)

I'd be curious as to how many people on here actually watched it and were offended, or how many are just being offended days later? 

I watched the first show, there was a very funny "Knightrider" sketch, with a mentally ill guy on drugs who "thought" his car was telling him to do stuff and there was a lot of unfunny stuff, bit of a curates egg but just cos I didnt find something particularly funny or tasteful then so what? If everything was designed to be inoffensive we'd be stuck with endless repeats of dross like "Last of the Summer Wine" or" My Family" or about a thousand other lame, safe, dull s*itcoms.

so deal with it people, get over  it, dont watch it if you're easily offended, dont read about it if you're easily offended and certainly dont ban it because you're easily offended
