Aren't lead engines very heavy? I've heard that the piston rings are made of pewter and that the exhaust valves are zinc plated copper. is this true :-?

I'm HGV positive. Only one step up the scale from Traffic Wardens.
Difference is we could all live without Traffic Wardens!

Spent 35+ years in IT, but nowadays I'm fully occupied hiding from my wifes long lists of DIY "to-do's" - I do most of my hiding on the golf course, some in the garage and some walking the hills in Yorkshire and Derbyshire. She hasn't found me yet - Sshhh (especially You STMO).

I fix things......

Currently fixing control systems for a manufacturer of Pill making machines.  They have also asked me to design replacements for some of the obsolete stuff, looks like a job for some LPC1768's.

I can't be screwing up too much, cause they offered me a full time job, and at more than I asked for.
