Samsung Galaxy's are shite end off, I was an Android user for well over a year after being on Windows Mobile (custom build)

iPhone is much more polished experience, handsets better built, nicer to use, app store is far superior. Android market is one its biggest problems, iTunes (although crap) allows for a much better experience to browse apps

Tunnie, dont judge a mobile with its software availability on market when its new.. they are running 1 ghz processor with amoled screens..

even I'm using wave 8500 with shite Bada ;D but I'm well pleased with it.. :y (same hardware with size and minor differences)
ps: even bada accepts software certificates, that I'm using to access job mails.. wifi works perfectly.. and I can test my newly written .net aspx  pages..

Not just new, got several Android phones here ranging from Galaxy to HTC Desire to the woeful Motorola Flip Blur. Can't help compare them to my works iPhone, none of them come close.

Early days they were not amazing, i'll admit, and it took Apple way to long to put copy and paste on a phone. But its sooo easy to use, compare that to andorid its a b!tch to use! Especially when trying to grab just one word on a huge page.

iphone usage may be easier.. but not worth that price difference imo.. here is twice my phone..

That is a huge factor, its also the original reason I went for Android over iPhone as Apple policy means no free handsets! Which was bread and butter of contracts for ages, free phone!

But now I get free iPhone and no bills  ::)  ;D

Check the 02 business plans for iPhone4, got 16gb for 117 plus vat and 27 a month for 300 mins unlimited texts and 02 mobiles.

Best I could find on the must have network for signal.

was that a 24 month contract?

Love my Android.

Its compact and rugged.

Does email, facebook, a bit of web browsing and the apps side is more than good enough (and easy to use).

Phone reception is very good, battery life acceptable and the call quality is good to.

Its also VERY stable (its now on 2.1)

So it ticks all the boxes for me
