::) I must`ve been born to clean!....
......I keep reading the title as: "Bathroom DIY scouring advice" ;D

Not so keen on coloured suites though; my friend has an one, that I can only describe as 'poo brown'......although he tells me it was sold as 'chocolate brown' (I think knowing that makes it seem even worse!) :o

You could get coloured suites in the 1990s we had one in our first house, but can't remember the colour, current 1999 house has a peach coloured suite.

I think I remember seeing an Avocado suite dumpeddiscretely placed behind the shed when we moved in here 7 years ago Martin, I shall go and hack my way through the scrub & have a look to see if it's still there & get back to you if you're interested? ;) ::)

Avocado  8-) Nice.

Shame. I think my brother has just chucked out a nice pink 1970's suite. :D

We couldn't wait to get shut of our BLUE ensuite & GREEN main bathroom. I did have some pictures of the blue pan being smashed up .... but can't find them now.  :-?

Mainly because they are regarded as very unfashionable these days. White & Grey are the "in" colours and minimalist is the "in" concept. ;)

.....

As you've discovered by the lack of coloured suites in bathroom show rooms you're very much in the minority.
Our main bathroom was done pergamon which is very slightly off white.
I found this site though  ;) ...... http://www.plumbprice.com/bathrooms/DISC%20COLS/Discontinued%20Colour%20Information.html It might be of use  :-/

Hmm.. There's an idea. I could really cut down on cleaning if I fitted a brown bathroom suite. :-X

Makes it worse... ::) ::) ::)  I fitted my bathroom out with a dark blue suite in 1980, looked great.....till you turned a tap on, you could not keep it clean unless you polished every time you used the sink or bath, bad move..... :D :D :D
