It means that the BBC is broadcasting a programme about Lord Monckton - a climate sceptic - and wont allow him to put his point of view on the programme. He thinks this is unfair, but the BBC dont agree, and apparently neither do the courts. ;)

Yep, it was grim propaganda. No real science, just images of floods and snow, for which there is absolutely no proof of a CO2 connection.

Indeed, just today it was reported that Dr Noor van Andel spoke at the Dutch Meteorological Institute (KNMI), concluding there is no observational evidence for the influence of CO2 on past or present climate.

As expected, the BBC spent huge amounts of [our] money to give the impression that climate scepticism was all about right-wing Tea Parties and bikers.

Basically, it was drivel. >:(

Why am I forced to pay £140 p.a. for the BBC, I simply do not understand. ::) ::) ::)

Thats a polite way of putting it Don, as soon as i heard Rupert Murray utter those words "putting my green beliefs to one side" It was obvious where this was going, >:( anyhow heres a useful link for some of us.https://www.bbc.co.uk/complaints/forms/, I suppose we couldnt expect anything else when the BBC have got £ millions of their pension fund wrapped up in carbon businesses. :o

Indeed, Alf, good point.

I remember when old whatshisface from the BNP was on the Beeb, I thought I'd watch it to see what he had to say (I'm not a BNP voter you understand, just curious) but he never had a chance to say anything. Now you can say "just as well" but what was the point of having him on if you wasn't going to let him say his piece? Publicity I guess.

just watched that Storyville doc - interesting - you should watch it, then comment if you think Lord Monckton was or wasnt given a fair hearing.

If you dont watch it - dont moan about it.  :y

It would be impossible to say if anyone gets a fair hearing without seeing all the footage that was taken. After all, you only see what the producer wants you see - that tends to be the same for all documentaries, which is why the mainstream media is so powerful, or at least was until the world-wide web arrived.  ;)

PS I watched it and found it cringeworthy.  :(
