Question is would the hammers fill it every other wk.... My own thoughts are they wont and it will become another soulless stadium

Apparently the seating capacity will be reduced from 80,000 to 60,000 for their use.  So the Hammers, as usual, are thinking small time!! :D :D :D :D :D ;)

Think they could reduce it even further  as we all know they are coming down this year  :D ;D :D

On a serious note tho ... The Ricoh is an awsome place WHEN  its full  ( which isnt often these days) but as ive already said most of the time its souless with all the empty seats :'(

Do they ever go up?

My mum's family were all Hammer supporters and they always were going on about West Ham's woes!! ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

The doctor and nurse are on there way to your aid... followed by the white coat brigade  ;) ;D ;D

They shouldn't get it, one I don't like the idea, two it'll ruin the atmosphere, three it's stupid, four the stadium they've got they can't fill, there'll be a five when I've thought some more.

I don't know! :-/ :-/  They do seem to have great fun ripping up the seats to play with, pulverising oppossing surporters to test their boxing skills, and wrecking pubs where none Phillwall supporters drink to modify them, then running around the police for exercise!! ::) ::) ::)  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

OOOOOPPPPPSSSS!! :-[ :-[ :-[  Sorry Millwall!! :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Yes, I witnessed something like that with my eldest son at Bristol City who he supported, and it was the only time I was really frightened at a football match!  Seats, bottles, rocks, were going everywhere :o :o :o :o :o  The ugly side of football :P :P :P

My dad is a Luton fan (bless him)
He was at the game in 1985 when Millwall wrecked the away end of their stadium, leading to them banning all away fans. Needless to say, his opinion of Millwall isn't too great.

It has never gone away but the Police have  very good tactics in keeping things in line now to reduce it to nearly ZERO.

Hence why families can once again return to our grounds

Who cares? Footie has slowly & sadly declined into a bunch of hair gel nancy boys who care more about thier egos & pockets than the game but can't produce the goods or justify thier wages when we need them once every four years. The game the players & the overpaid no idea managers have become a complete embarrassment to our country, not my opinion but fact.
