Humax HD boxes .........
« on: 08 February 2011, 19:13:35 »

Has anyone successfully networked these on a home network?

I'm going to have a go in a week or so and wondered if there were any pitfalls awaiting me.

Had one sat upstairs still in the box for a year or so. Not really sure what it is or what it does. :-[ ::) ;D

I set it all up yesterday with interesting results. Got iPlayer ok on the HDR - but not the HD & couldn't see either machine from the other.

Called Humax and discussed with their (excellent) support folks.

They are issuing a software upgrade within the next few weeks that will enable either/both machines to act as servers rether than clients which they are at the moment.

So, basically it's wait Robert - will keep you posted  :y
