I think the Sun would have us and every politician believe it to be all great and powerful - truth is, they invariably decide to back the favourite then declare "its the sun wot won it" when in reality they have little or no influence (witness the attempt to destroy a hung parliament before the last general election),as soon as those in power realise they can remove the tongue from ruperts rear end the better 

why they listen to the non elected tax dodger is beyond me

It has always concerned me that since the Mirror's circulation was overtaken by The Sun in the 1970s it has meant that about 4.5 million initially chose to read this absolutely awful excuse for journalism!!

What does that say about the masses?

I dread to think. If there's any consolation, I wonder what percentage of the circulation can't read and therefore just look at the pictures?
