I am infact a Grandad and a proud one at that. I also lived through the war as a boy frightened beyond belief, sitting under the stairs for hour on end, but you would not know about such things CaptainZok I am sure. I did however do my National Service which dare I say would have done your age group some good.  :y

I have enjoyed chatting with you, not sure if stopping up this late was a great idea but not being able to sleep lately. My son has been showing me how to use this computer bringing myself out of the dark ages apparently. .
Anyway Good Night God Bless .

OK, I'll post a sensible answer..................

Started on a Yamaha YB100 at 17, then...................
Suzy T125-11 stinger
Suzi GT185
Suzi GT380
Suzi GT550
Honda CB650
Yamaha RD400
Yamaha RD350LCx2
Honda CX500 eurostyle
Kawasaki Z900
Kawasaki KH500( nearly killed myself, had only 3 days.............)
Honda CB1000
and at the moment, Suzi RF900R at just over 50 y.o.

Cant seem to shake the bug!

Had loads of others over the years for short times, and swapped them if they were crap, or didn't ride very well (bought a Kawasaki Z750 once, nearly fell asleep it was so boring to ride, sold it a week later for the same as I bought it for, PLUS a set of leathers....RESULT.) :y :y

I'd like to ride my ZX10 again, but that means finding the keys ::)

I did, errr, tweak some wiring the other day, and took it for a run around the corner, and its running like a sack of poo.  It needs the cobwebs blown out. Can't run it much further, as I can't get any petrol in it until I find keys...

Started riding very young, my brother did schoolboy scrambles as it was called then, so had access to bikes. I had stopped riding by the age of 15 as I discovered females.
Started riding again around 26 or 27, and still riding now at 45.

 :)
