Mobile Phones (Again)
« on: 03 April 2011, 11:29:41 »

Need another mobile phone, not sure whether to go for a contract or stay on PAYG.

Looking at either a Samsung Galaxy S or an IPhone 4

Am with orange at the moment (PAYG) and like thier free usage history link on thier web site that I check daily agaist fraugulant use of my phone.  Do any other providers offer free itemised usage?

The Galaxy is my GF's idea as her son has one and she is mega impressed.  But the IP4 seems impressive as well

Contract v PAYG?   I have only just started making more use of the mobile even tho I have had one for years, but looking at contract offers will force me to use it and forget the landline to use my credit up.  PAYG with outright peuchase may be my better option, but must have usage history availble from website regardless of what I do.

Would appreciacate any help knowing if your provider shows useage history, looking on O2 they dont. :-/

They do, when they email you the bill, you can then log onto their website and check it  :y
Not that i bother tbh, as long as its 'about' the same monthly amount  ::) which is about a tenner on their simplicity tariff   :)

Can get all my usage details off the T-Mobile web site.
Galaxy S and iPhone will both cost a bit if you go down the PAYG route (IMHO).

i have this at the moment Skrunts...

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5185140/c_1/1%7Ccategory_root%7COffice%2C+PCs+and+phones%7C14418968/c_2/2%7C14418968%7CMobile+phones%7C14419095/c_3/3%7Ccat_14419095%7CVodafone+mobile+phones%7C14419104.htm

PAYG. I top up £10 a month and get billions of texts and free internet browsing time. and the people i call most are on the vodafone friends and family which means its free any time to call.

best phone and best package ever.

although i must admit the camera is 5 mega pixels which im told is good but it really aint. the cameras s**t
