Still reckon crossed injectors, or something along those lines...

...so,
1) LPG loom fault
2) Injectors plugged in wrong
3) Injector to manifold gas pipes crossed somehow

TB prays it was not something he did, unless directly related to that bag of gravel he pour down inlet 1...

I'm with TB, although I still put a kinked pipe at the top of the list. Then LPG loom fault, then crossed wiring/plumbing between injectors ::)

LD wins. Injector pipe was slightly pinched between manifold and head on injectors 4 and 5 (cylinders 2 4) something I'm sure I checked and was careful with when installing.  :-[

We didn't think it was bad enough to cause the issues we where seeing, so continued to check every aspect of the wiring, even down to the pin outs on the loom plug. Kevs diagnostic logic and process is impressive. We found nothing wrong other than that so put the plenum back on, fired it up and bingo, no misfires and calibrated straight away. [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]

Those rubber pipes are hard when cold, but very compliant when hot. Wondered if they slipped down...?  :-/

So nout to do with anyone else's work or too small a bag of gravel  ;D.   :y

Btw, and this is nout to do with the issue, there is the same imbalance between banks we have seen before. No problem, Kev added some duration(?) on that side to balance it out, but it will be interesting to see what's causing it.

Imbalance between injector blocks?
Different lengths of fuel pipe?
T on one side causing slight restriction?
Slightly more kinked large fuel pipe on one bank?

Thoughts?
Yeah... Checked my long term trims today and one is -2, the other 8 (IIRC) and my theory is the slightly longer pipe run. Not causing me any issues though so if it ain't broke...

Checked my map too... Still pretty much spot on :y

So... What was the problem? You're getting as bad as that shouty bloke! ::) ;D

This was a huge mismatch between banks. -10% on one side and +10% on the other added in the Stag ECU and it was still slightly out of balance, although longer nozzle pipes so they aren't as tightly routed may help. It's bad enough to cause poor running when switching to petrol due tot he large fuel trim it builds up on one bank. Be interesting to see where the fuel trims settle when we've got time for a more extended fettle. (I suppose you could do this with me ELM cable, Chris ::))

I had a small issue on mine when I converted it (about 5% difference between banks) and originally thought it was down to pipe length or the fact that one bank has the measurement Tee in the line. Swapped it all about and it was the injectors! :o

It makes me wonder if Teilo could do a better job of providing matched pairs of injectors blocks - or at least supply pairs from the same production batch?

I must admit, I can't really see why they would vary so much from one injector block to the next. :-/

Made in China? ;D

Wonder if you can send them off to be cleaned & flow tested like petrol injectors? Or for that matter, could it be to do with the fact you've also got self-drilled nozzles on the end of a bit of pipe?
