Why would any self respecting Englishman want to support him after the way he's slagged of the English in the past!?

when has he ever slagged off the English? I remember an English journalist jokingly wound him up about Scotlands failure to qualify for some world cup when he was a teenager and he returned the compliment........surely thats not what you're still sore about? so when was this slagging thats got your knickers in a twist? and what did he say? 

its simply racist to not support him because hes scottish, dont support because you dont like the way he plays, dont support him if you love Federer who hates playing him, dont support him because hes a bit surly and doesnt take any crap off anyone....but not supporting him because hes scottish is just petty and  racist :-?

Eh eh eh........calm down, calm down, it was a bit of a tongue in cheek post, hence the roly eyes! However, I remember him slagging off the English during the last world cup, and no, I'm not petty or racist.
In all honesty though, it's normally the Scots that are anti-English, particularly in football. I always used to support the Scots in international tournaments as I consider us all part of the same country, however, most Scots that I know or read about will always support English opponents rather than England in any major sports. All a bit silly really as we all share the same lump of rock.

This is true. BJ is just about the only Scot alive who does not take pleasure from seeing England  humiliated and defeated.

As for the other five million or so Scots.....well....... :-/ :-/
