If someone really wants to change their life, to give up something, I mean really want to (not some superficial cliche crap they talk about on a whim), they will. If might be hard, harder than saying "I want to give it up". But that's willpower.

Says the man who never touches any of the above, presumably? Because we all flirt with something that can become the death of us. Nothing to do with being "retarded", just a subtlety in the wiring that turns an occasional pleasure into a trip to the morgue..

I must say, I never cared for her music, but 27 is way too early to go..

I feel very, very sorry for her family, as anybody who has lost a child knows, it is the very worst day of your life. Most problems in life can be solved, but there is no going back from a death.

Having just read through this thread I am left feeling saddened. Not by the fact that AW has died, although 27 is far too young to pass and leave a family behind! But because, IMO, the general OOF membership profile has changed so much It's amazing how many perfect people there are on here now who never touch any form of drug (alcohol, cigerettes included), prescription drug, or break the law (and yes, speeding is breaking the law ) in any way It makes me wonder if I should be spending as much of my time here any more :-/

My Brother in Law is addicted a Morphin, which had to start taking after his Back Operation. In fact the Morphin is apparently not stopping his suffering as it did because his body is now used to it.
Rather an upsetting thing being honest to see him like that.

i had the same with tramadil. was taking so much for the pain in my back i was doing more damage to my kidneys resulting in hospitalisation in january. you really dont see the problem most of the time until its too late.
