Truck, and van drivers like that should be banned from driving for life without any exceptions. Thankfully this country now has a law that dishes out instant fines for it. The only addition to that should be an automatic mandatory 10 points (never mind about 3, or 6) added onto their licence coupled with a £1000.00 fine. In really bad cases the vehicle should also be siezed whether the driver owned it or not!
With the technology there is today it should also be instantaeneous and done at the roadside, the offending vehicle then towed away with the costs piled onto its driver. Truckers and white van man (add many taxi drivers to that) do not own the roads although the vast majority of them think they do in this area and I am certain that this is not the only area either.
I can remember the days when white van man was applauded by the Sun newspaper....but since that day they have believed that they are the be all and end all it. Add truckers and their habits to that mix and you have death on the roads.
Like every other walk of life...those who drive well in trucks and white vans (other colours included)
Oops! nearly forgot about the caravanners and dreaded mobile camper ones, there are good and bad. It is time that the good reported the bad and reclaimed their once good reputations.
I for one am sickened and tired of the bully tactics employed by them because they are in some kind of insane mad race.......usually against themselves
Surely that is aform of mental illness and is definitely the cause of road rage cases.
Those guilty of that type of act should be resticted to driving a scalextric
track!
