Went shopping to Ikea Wembley today. At about 2pm they kicked us all out and shut the shop as the rioting was starting in the Tesco's next door. 

Went home and all the shops were closing, even the big ones like Wickes.

I live in the borough of Ealing.

As an utterly non-violent person and consummate coward, who has spent 65 years running away from the first signs of trouble as fast as my little legs will carry me, I'm a little bit surprised that so few of our gallant citizens are standing up to these kids.  There's a lot of them, but, individually, they don't look all that fearsome to me. 

I'm inclined to think that a few big blokes with big sticks could sort the whole thing out quite quickly, provided our friends in blue were looking the other way at the time. 

Funnily enough, I was looking at pick-axe handles in B&Q last week.

Heard that our new Lord Mayor Peter Soulsby(pushed in by labour and oops I forget the Sir) is shittin his pants cos its started in Leicester now.....
First thing to go upo hopefully will be the so called Golden Mile 
Are we missing the point somehow? First we are told that we will feel the weight of the law if we 'hurt' anyone while protecting ourselves but then as usual the Police now want our help to stop them.....What so they can then have an easy collar on us for helping? Not me kiddo, I am old not daft
To save money and bring in a fast end to it bring in the Army, instill Martial Law and use live ammunition with accuracy!  Oh..and sack that fart of a woman who waffles about 'the difficult problems we face'. What the F is she doing in the job if she cannot do it?
Which brings me to a fine point.....How intelligent are the rioters when they all know how good technology is today and that they are being recorded on film with loads of them NOT wearing any face masks? Shows just how stupid they are...
Is it true that the courts are already printing the punishment holiday brochures for them and the Royal Mint is doing overtime to ensure there is enough notes for their spending money?
