Bike 1975 Honda CB250-K2, Car 1980 BSM Austin Metro, both first time.

I bought a Reliant Plastic Pig to practice driving a car on my bike licence, if you can drive this is a gale you can drive anything.  ::) A week after passing my test the plastic pig had gone to be replaced with a Ford Granada 2.5 Estate.  :y :y :y

1973 Bike, age 16 on a Honda CB250K4 in Portsmouth.

1974 Car, age 17 in a Hillman Avenger 1500 in Bishop Auckland.

1980  HGV Class 1, age 21, in a 1963 crash gearbox Commer with a kerb cropper single axle trailer, in Darlington.

1980 PSV, any single Decker, age 21 in a 1965? Bedford Duple, in Darlington, one week after HGV.

Car - 1978 in a Viva.Passed first time. Didnt have any lessons.
Bike - finally got round to "doing it legal" in 1998. Passed first time.

Car - 1986 - First Time - Everyone said I would fail because I was driving my 3.0 Auto Granada around for quite sometime before  ;D
Bike - Never have taken the test, to unsafe for my liking.

Car, 1993, aged 17. Passed first time in my dad's 1988 MkII VW Golf (which he still has!!)
Bike, 1996, aged 20. Passed 2nd time (failed 1st time because examiner said I continued on when and oncoming Range Rover swung out to pass a car parked on their side of the road, and the gap wasn't wide enough for him to follow me through safely... he was in a bloody car though!!)  ::) :-X

Car 1967, or thereabouts, at the fifth attempt.

Never been on a motorised 2-wheeler of any sort, and don't intend to start now.

But I'd absolutely love to learn to drive a bus!  I assume it costs quite a lot to learn, so I'm unlikely to ever achieve that ambition.  However, if I ever win the lottery, I'd advise you all to keep well away from Suffolk. :) :) :)
